Induction Program

Venue- Shantai Auditorium
The Induction Program was organized by Y.B. Patil Polytechnic Institute at Shantai Auditorium, starting at 11:00 AM. The event was specifically arranged for first-year diploma engineering students and their parents to introduce them to the campus, faculty, and institutional values. It was graced by dignitaries, including the Hon. Campus Director, the Principal, the Dean of Placement, Mr Vishesh Bansal Managing Director ,AVI industries ,the Mrs Shruti Seth, Behavioural Counselor, Mrs Swati Jadhav ,Language Lab Incharge Vice Principal, and the Heads of Departments from various branches of the institute.
The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the start of the program, with participation from all the dignitaries. Following the inauguration, top-performing students from each department were felicitated by the dignitaries to inspire others and recognize academic excellence. The Campus Director addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of discipline and physical fitness during their time at the institute, urging everyone to maintain a balanced routine.
Dr A S Kondekar, Principal of an institute introduced the institutional functioning and highlighted the methodologies that make Y.B. Patil Polytechnic unique in its approach to education and student development. The Dean of Placement detailed the placement process, explaining how students could prepare themselves for the professional world and the support the institute in terms of industry connections and skill-building. She provided insights into how students can prepare for recruitment drives and the skills they need to develop during their academic journey
Soft-Skills Trainer Mrs. Swati Mohite emphasized the significance of strong communication skills in today's competitive world and outlined how students can utilize language labs and training programs to enhance their employability and effectiveness during placements.
Day-2
Mr. Abhijeet Patil, the Academic Coordinator, conducted a session on academic planning, aimed at helping students understand the academic structure, examination patterns, Importance of technical education, effective utilization of library infrastructure for students, Future planning and effective study strategies to ensure success.
The induction program continued with an informative session conducted by Mr. Rahul Baviskar, a Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He informed NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning), IIT Bombay Initiative, E-Cell YBPP (Young Bharat Prabodhan Path), IIT Kharagpur Initiative. These initiatives are designed to equip students with practical skills and exposure to new technologies, enhancing their academic and career growth in the long run.
Day-3 Behavioral Counselor Mrs. Shruti Seth provided valuable suggestions for parents on effective parenting methods and offered students advice on shaping a successful career, focusing on emotional well-being and personal growth.
Day-4 The session conducted by Mrs Manisha Vibhute on Outcome Based Education , ensuring students were aware of the guidelines and policies for maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment.
The program ended with Vote thanks by Mr C M Pattanshetty.
