WELCOME TO DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE & HUMANITIES:

diploma in computer science engineering colleges in pune

As the Technician education has become of paramount importance for the last two and half decades in Maharashtra, and ours is a brand in imparting best education, Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan Akurdi started  Diploma Courses in 1984 by name Y. B. Patil Polytechnic at Akurdi.

No sooner did our management start the First Year than four dedicated well qualified and experienced teaching faculties were appointed in scale. Consequently Y.B.Patil Polytechnic  started as full-fledged institute with its unique identity in Pimpri-Chinchwad area.

As such we have best faculty staff who cares for needs and demands of students academically and personally as well. First Year faculty members coordinated state level Content Updating Short Term Training Program sponsored by MSBTE Mumbai. Various co-curricular and extra-curricular events are arranged by First Year Section such as Quiz, Project exhibition, Debate, competitions, etc… and these have appeared in MSBTE Newsletters.

Science & Humanities are the backbone of the technology. The comprehensive growth of science & engineering definitely achieves the predetermined goals. The utility of the science for the science betterment of human being is engineering.

Science & human values directs the goal, mission & vision of engineering.

This department involves basic awareness of

  • English
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Basic workshop Practices (BWP)

These Subjects enable students to identify the problem, to set the order of events, to analyze the problems & by using engineering knowledge to solve the problems & to set standard procedures to tackle any type of problem in future.
